HOW OUR MAILORDER SERVICE WORKS/FAQ
Answers to Frequently Asked Questions:
- YOU WILL NOT RECIEVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL AUTOMATICALLY upon placing this order.
- Each order is printed out when received by the shop. After we pull what is in stock for your order, we will email you a Paypal payment link charging you only for items in stock and the appropriate postage rate.
***OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
- We DO NOT QUOTE YOU FOR ITEMS THAT ARE NOT IN STOCK.
- PLEASE LIST ANY ALTERNATES you might want in the "notes" section on the checkout page, as this will help us to fill your order more completely and faster.
- Please keep in mind that MANY ITEMS ARE LIMITED TO ONE COPY, especially the used stock. Also keep in mind that orders are filled on a first come-first served basis.
- If an item is out of stock that you think may become again available, we suggest signing up for the EMAIL UPDATES, or checking the website periodically.
- Once payment is received you will receive an email confirming your order has been completed and is ready to ship.
- When your order has been packed and shipped, you will receive an email from Stamps.com containing your tracking number for delivery confirmation.
- If you have any questions, please ask before sending payment.
USA SHIPPING POLICY:
The customer pays all shipping and handling charges. Additional optional shipping services and options (Insurance, Priority Mail, etc) are listed below.
USA shipping rates with Delivery Confirmation:
$4.00 1st CD / Cassette
$0.50 each additional
$4.50 1st 7" RECORD
$0.50 each additional
$5.50 1st LP / 10" etc
$0.50 each additional
Multi Format orders or orders containing unusual packaging will be quoted based on the mailer format required to get your item there safely.
All domestic orders will be shipped via Stamps.com and include Delivery Confirmation.
We Use USPS 1st Class for items under 13oz, and USPS Media Mail for items over 13oz.
We will combine orders to save shipping.
All orders paid for via Paypal will ship to the verified address listed with the Paypal account. Make sure your Paypal shipping address is up to date before ordering.
Items may also be picked up in person at one of our two shop locations in Providence RI or Cambridge MA to save on shipping costs locally, but payment of state sales tax will be required at time of purchase.
ADDITIONAL SHIPPING SERVICES / USA:INSURANCE
Insurance is recommended due to the nature of the postal service, it is not automatically included in the price. You will be charged extra for this service if requested at the rates listed below.
PRIORITY MAIL
If you want to receive your package via priority mail, please ask. You will be quoted with the costs for this additional shipping option.
OTHER OPTIONS
If you want your order shipped by another method (UPS, In Store Pickup, etc.), please add this request to your order and we will get back to you with a quote for any additional shipping costs or information related to your order.
PROOF OF SHIPMENT/TRACKING
We have every package we ship scanned when we drop them off to verify proof of shipment, and all domestic packages are trackable via either Stamps.com or USPS.com.

WORLDWIDE SHIPPING POLICY
The customer pays all shipping and handling charges.
Those charges are calculated per order based on the weight of actual item(s), the packing material required to ensure safe arrival, cost of required mailer, and standard USPS international 1st Class Airmail.
If you choose to ship VIA Global Priority Mail, or have additional Tracking, Registered, or Insured services, please request them at check-out so we can get you the most accurate quote.
All international orders will be shipped via Stamps.com using USPS 1st Class Airmail.
All orders paid for via Paypal will ship to the verified address listed with the Paypal account. Make sure your Paypal shipping address is up to date before ordering.
Paying for extra tracking service is recommended due to the nature of the postal service.
If your item is particularly expensive we may require it to be shipped registered.
PLEASE NOTE:
PACKAGES SHIPPED VIA 1ST CLASS AIR ARE ONLY TRACKABLE UNTIL THEY LEAVE THE USA.
After that we have no ability to track them via the Customs Form number alone, and we claim no responsibility for them once delivered to the USPS.
